Gandhi Jayanti- Swachhta Saptah

To commemorate Gandhi Jayanti celebration, Satna campus organised a Swachhta Saptah from 01-10-24 till 05-10-24. On Day 1, the Swachhta Subharambh was done by the Satna – Smart City Ambassador- Mr. Ratnesh Pandey. He flagged off the rally procession of students and teachers of Satna campus in collaboration with Nagar Nigam- Satna Smart City members. On Day 2. Students visited a nearby Temple and carried out Shram Daan and cleaned the premises of the temple. On Day 3. Students visited – Srijan , a community living space and interacted with the elderly living there. During the interaction students chanted bhajans and got enlightenment on the message given in Gita and other vedic gyan talk. On Day 4, to conclude the event, students performed a Nukkad Natak, which was prepared by them under the guidance of Satna Swachhta Team from Nagar Nigam. Sarv Dharm Prarthna was also held during the closing ceremony of the Swachhta Saptah. The efforts done by students were lauded by the Members from Nagar Nigam. Students were also enthusiastic about the entire proceedings held during the week and understood the importance of youth being active about these practices to keep the city and neighbourhood clean and tidy.
